Personal Statment

Metabolic magnetic resonance imaging is a key technology in our metabolic research. It involves medical physics, mathematics, and engineering. Dr. Wang is a well trained and certified medical physicist with extensive experience in MRI physics and specializes in hyperpolarized carbon-13 metabolic MR imaging. He serves as a Co-Investigator in Project 3, Imaging Carbohydrate Metabolism, and the Center Training & Dissemination Programs. Dr. Wang is responsible for the overall technical supervision of the metabolic MR imaging as well as ongoing technology development.
