Personal Statment
Dr. Kovacs is an experienced synthetic chemist who assists Dr. Sherry in supervision of the synthetic chemistry group. Dr. Kovacs is responsible for the synthesis of 13C- and 15N-labeled compounds. He also supervises all of the testing of new molecules in the polarizers for assessing relaxation times, stability to dissolution and other factors relevant to understanding in vivo images.
