Personal Statment

Dr. Khemtong is a chemist by training. His research is focused on developing hyperpolarized 13C and 15N substrates for metabolic imaging applications proposed in TR&D 1. He has abundant experience in MR imaging of hyperpolarized 13C and 15N agents in both phantoms and live animals. Dr. Khemtong is also chairing the Internal Advisory Committee for the national Center for In Vivo Metabolism. He is the point of contact, along with Dr. Malloy, for scientific issues.
